    PCMs or Phase Change Materials are used in B. T. Shelters in a few diferent ways. They can be encapsulated in Aluminum or Polymer Profiles. Compact or
    Wall-hanging models are available. It is called Advanced Thermal Management system. The matter is sumarrised as under:
    1. Back-up to air conditioning in case of power failure.
    2. Free cooling with-out air conditioning and maintaining the Shelter temperature at less than 35C or 40C etc.
    3. Latest-PCM is offering trials for PCM based back-up for eliminating diesel generator in case of power failure. You will find a write up on PCMs for BTS (B. t. Shelter) at pcmenergy.com
    4. In India PCMs are extensively used in Airtel (Bharti) shelters. Tatas are in a trial stage and Reliance may follow the suit.

    Bran the commands of NOKIA Bsc are
    for:
    EDAP : ZESI;
    TRXSIG : ZDTI:::PCM=”ET”;
    OMU can also be checked from the above command
    and for Tch u can check from
    ZERO:BTS or BCF No=” “;

    hi ravindra

    the trans. power is 44 Dbm with combiner and 47 dbm without combiner

    and
    the bcf is terminology which represents the different BTS or sector

    the OMU signalling is responsible for carrying the alarms
    its main important function is to initialize the BTS and configure it.

    another important function of OMU sig is that it keep on interacting with the hardware of BTS and ckeck there status
