VelaGuest
Hi All
I would like to know more about cell planning in GSMI would also like to know what is the ideal distance that should be maintained between 2 cells of same freqency
hi VelaGuestI will be grateful if you have this question’s answer and send it to me because it is part of my project. Thank you very much.
farisGuestplease (hi vela)..can u send me your project at faris_aas@hotmail.com
i need many info about GSM
plz help meakshayGuestThe ferquency used by the one transmitter can not be reused again until there is enough geographical seperation so that one station does not interfere with another station assigned to that frequency.
the key to the cellular system is to make efficient use of availaible channels by using LOW POWER TRANSMITTER to allow frequency reuse at much SMALLER DISTANCES.
NOW CELL is an elementary area .
the formula for distance between cells using same frequency is..D= SQUAREROOT(3K)*R
where D=distance between the cells
K=frequency reuse factor
R= radius of each cell(assuming cells of equal radius)
ABOVE FORMULA IS DERIVED CONSIDERING geometry of cell. here i have not derived the formula.
but D is a function of S/I ratio.WALEED MAHJOUBGuestI HAVE MANUALS FOR CELL PLANING EMAIL ME TO KNOW YOUR NEEDS
Waleed MahjoubGuestPlease can you email to me the manuals for cell planning.
Thanks,
Ali GuledwaleedGuestdear ali i don’t know your adress so send it to me to help you in this
Waleed MahjoubGuestMy address is as follows:
810 Bradfield Dr.
Garland, TX 75042Thank you.
Ali GuledkshitijGuesthello
Mr.Waleed Mahjoub, can u pls forward cell planning manual, to my Email ID.toi would be very grateful
TYsussieGuesthi folks,
can any one provide me manuals or links abt bsc & bts installation for CDMA
sussieninan@yahoo.comwaleedGuestdear ali gueld i asked you your email adress to send you an attachment through the internet and remmember me what is the subject you are asking for…
waleedGuestdear faris you asked me to help you to know how is the connection between PLMN and the MSC of GSM can be done?usually there are 3 ways of connection :
1microwave link.
2optical fiber link
3twisted 2 wire
email me for more details…waledGuesthi there
drop me your adress to answer you about the planning, the distance may differ as the output power of TRX of the neighbouring cells and the geografical situation is playing important action too, therefore the frequency reuse is important in GSM cell planning…wALEEDGuestHI
KrisdiartoGuesthello
