In my point of view TCH accessibility is directly proportional to TCH blocking. As you improve the TCH blocking your TCH accessibility will improve28th December 2009 at 02:37 #60356pcGuest
Is there any equation to calculate the TCH blocking for ZTE29th December 2009 at 10:06 #60357ParasGuest
Formula for TCH blocking is :
number of TCH seizure failure * 100 / number of TCH seizure attempt29th December 2009 at 11:38 #60358AkramotsGuest
It is not 100% true.
There could be losses not only due to blocking (SDCCH, TCH, ABIS, A …) but also due to HW failure. For example: in case of cross connected Antennas between sectors, or one of TRX could be damaged.29th December 2009 at 12:16 #60359ParasGuest
that’s true, failure can be due to various reasons, but all these will come in failure part

Is the Cells with high SD Drop a border Cell? Check out ur CRH value. Try to increase ur CRH value to 8 if not. This may reduce ur LU.
Could u explain me wat exactly is definition of TCh Blocking and SD Blocking. Wats teh difference btw Blocking, Congestion and drop.2nd June 2010 at 09:25 #60364srinivasGuest
Thanks for the suggestion. A small elaboration on CRH will be helpful. We use NOKIA system here and there is no results for CRF in NED..
Please suggest.2nd June 2010 at 10:44 #60365KJBGuest
CRH (Cell Reselect Hysteresis),You need to search HYS in NED.
Default value is 4,Can be increases as per requirement.
