    Hi, i have a cell with very HIGH_SDCCH_ASS_FAIL. i have checked on the CDR which is ok below 1%, quality is super, no visible fault on the TRXs and the cell is not a VSAT one. what action can you recommend.

    Hi,
    the default parameter in our network of param TX_INTEGER is 50. In cells located in mountains with high SDCCH Assignment Failures, if we reduce the value of TX_INTEGER to 32, will that decrease SDCCH Assignment failures?

    Hello Rex,
    Do not forget that this Parameter (TX_Integer) is working with S parameter that depend on the type of your CCCH Combine type; if you have CCCH combined or not,
    any way try and inform us with the result,

    The SDCCH_ASS_FAIL_RATE_AVG=6

    Malay,

    Probably a TCH Assignement Failure, either due to TCH congestion, due to Radio failure, or due to TRX failure.
