    Dear all,
    What about flash card which staing in DXU-21? I have a problem with the FlashCard. How I can reprogram to RBS2206 when previously flash card was in RBS2308? I tried to connect with OMT to create new data( IDB) but it doesn’t connect any way…”This operation may takes few minutes”(to be continue….)
    Please, can anybody to help me?

    I have a problem with DRU E i installed the IDB, notice i have IDB inconsistent alarm after doing 3×2/3×2 configuration on the RBS, try uncombine and combine configuration but am having the same alarm

    Hi Rajiv and Srikanth
    some information about rbs:
    RBS 2301/2302/2308 Micro Base Station, RBS 2101/2102/2202/ Macro Base Station with CDU-A, or RBS 2106/2206 Macro Base Station with CDU-G. Supported Macro Base Station configurations are 1×2, 2×2 and 3×2 CDU-A and 1×2, 2×2 and 3×2 CDU-G.

    Hi hilton
    The problem not from window vista its from serial to usb converter so if u need to use the window vista for Ericsson OMT RBS 2206 or 2216 or any kind of Ericsson RBS u need a special converter. Only the USB 2.0 to RS232 convertor can work with window vista and you can enter the omt for RBS Ericson with out having any problem .

    Hi Mohamad,
    there is no difference between them. 1st – 2216 is newer version and it’s more smaller size like 40×60 (2116 is 90×65). 2nd – 2216 don’t has battery backup.

    Mohammed,

    RBS2216 /RBS2116 are referred to as Flemingo Cabinets. These are new RBSs.

    2216 is Indoor while 2116 is Outdoor.

    Jhn maybe you use lower version of omt you can use omt 39 or omt 41 2216V2 or 2116v2
