but my other questions are:
1)Mobile station’s output power in watts and in db.
2)Beamwidth of GSM and MW antenna.

MS o/p pwr is 0.125 watt or 21 dbm
n beamwidth of GSM is 65 deg (at H plane)..n 6.5 deg (at E plane)..

hi mohit,
for all link budgeting purposes we take mobile o/p power as 2W,and BW of antenna is normally variable and normal antennas used are of BW-65deg,and 90deg.HORIZONTAL,7 deg.-VERTICAL respectively,gain around 17 dbi and it is also variable.I hv no idea about MW antenna B.W.

Hi peter ,
If u want to measure frequency,measure it before the site ON-AIR(when OMU disable),
once site is On-Air , DAC value changes due to some BSS parameters.

I don’t know the power of IDU but i can to tell you that we use a rectifier of 300W for 4 or 5 IDU FIU.
With a circuit breaker or fuse of 6-10A.

dear suresh all nokia BTS are emitting more heat because tsxx is having inbuild power amplifier so they emitting more so you want reduce the heat usning phase changing material in side the shelter that can able to control the heat reduce the D.G Runing hours
