CSP – Communication Service providers – are now (at the time of writing) morphing into Digital Service Providers. The competition is unrelenting and this means that CSPs must now focus on having a flexible IT environment that will allow new Products to be offered so that they can be “consumed” by their customers.
Areas like a Front End Digital Portal, a unified Sales Catalog, Product Catalog, Service / Technical Catalog and a consolidated Order layer (Fulfillment) are key enablers.
Cloud (XaaS), Virtualisation, Data Centres, VMs, Docker, DevOps, AI, ML, NN, Customer Experience (CEM), Data Science, etc.. has changed the once “static” landscape.
OSS/BSS is now at the forefront.
