    We are looking for a tool to monitor and diagnose VoIP problems on our upcoming converged network.

    We are looking at tools like Empirix’s Hammer Call Analyzer, and NetIQ’s Vivinet Manager.

    Can anyone tell me what other tools are available?

    Most importantly, has anyone ever seen or created a feature matrix that compares the different tools capabilities?

    describe the converged nw. I just went to ITEXPo, there was a company there that does it.

    The converged network is mostly Nortel routers and switches. There are Nortel Meridian PBX’s with VGMC (formerly ITG) cards on the trunk side to perform IP trunking.

    There are also Succession 2.0 systems.

    The data and voice networks are separated via VLANS.

    Anything else?

    What was the company at the IT Expo?
