Can someone help me figure out what kind of signal to send from Qtelnet to the Avaya 6221 analog phone and make the voicemail light to light up? If you know the specs of the signal needed, please email me or post it here. It should be in miliseconds but what???
Nobody seams to know. I have tried 300ms and 500ms and 200ms with out any results

I ran across that recently too. Avaya uses a proprietary VMWI signal, so Qtelnet cannot pick up on it and transmit it. Neither can anyone else in the industry. IE if you put a Panasonic phone with a VMWI light onto one of the Avaya extensions, the light will never light. Only Avaya phones work.

Sorry couldnt be of more help.

That is so bad. It seams that Qtelent retransmits the signal but it is apperantly wrong .

Avaya told me it is proprietary. Grrrrrrrrrr.

    Thank you for your help.
