I have a little experience setting up calling card platforms using VoIP. I would like to know what kind of equipment is needed for a POTS calling card platform. 10th November 2003 at 12:39 #25652 NonameGuest Same thing, but easier. Call come in into a switch. IVR answer and collects data. Once Radius aprove the call, you go out on another trunk group to a carrier instead of going out on a VOIP output. Instead of using a gateway to control the flow of the call, you use a regular switch. Or you may stay with the gateway and use it to go from one trunk group to another, without using the voice compresion. 10th November 2003 at 17:34 #25653 GarfieldGuest Thank You for the reply, Could u give me some model numbers of non-voip switches Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) The forum ‘Voice over IP’ is closed to new topics and replies.
