can yuu help me ,give me a sample configuration?
3rd December 2002 at 22:50 #22499spam haterGuestTelnet into the unit and log in. Once you get the prompt, type gk and enter.
At the gatekeeper prompt, type gk route and the number that you are dialing.
For example if you are calling to Argentina you will type 01154 plus the area code and the number.
The A400 will answer witha list of the gateways that could take your call at that moment.
If it returns a “no candidates”. the number that you are dialing is not right.
You could also see who is registered on your unit by typing
gk ep return
That will give you a list of all the numbers reacheable from your a400.
Give a holler if you need more help.
Remove the first part nobswboyrie@yahoo.com
Start with the “w”Good luck!!!!!
4th December 2002 at 01:38 #22500xueyGuestthanks ,I can see the number that I dialed in gk table.
if i dial from tenor A400 to another tenor A400 is right ,I guess that the route is right.so I can’t find out the problem .

TX
13th June 2003 at 20:03 #22502QuiensabeGuestTo enter a new I.P. address for the tenor:
Login into the machine
From the prompt type “config”
Now the prompt is “config#”
Type “unit 1”
Prompt is now “config unit 1#”
type Ip zzz.222.sss.ddd.After you do enter the I.P.adress, you need to type “submit” for the terminal to keep the setting.
The changes will not be efective until you reset or reboot the unit. You could use the “reset” command to do that.
If you have a e-mail that could hold around 2.8 mb, I could send you the whole quintum tenor manual.
No one working in a tenor should be without it.
be sure that you could receive around 3mb file.
Post your e-mail address and I will send it to you.17th June 2003 at 02:49 #22503kanningcaiGuestQuiensabe: could you please send me tenor manual?

12th August 2003 at 06:49 #22510AustinGuestI want to make simple conection between two tenor having single phone at both side.
I have made sroute & what else configuration has to implement.
12th August 2003 at 11:49 #22511nonameGuestIf you need to call from a single line phone to a single line phone, it is very simple.
You need to asign a phone number to the ports where the phonew is attached to .
Lets say site “A” have a phone on port one. All what you need to do is assign a number (real or other) to the port. That becames the phone number to that port.
It is simpler to keep the internation format, since Quintum route calls following that format.Lets say that location “A” is in New York. You tell the Quintum that:
1) Country code is 1
2) Area code is 212
3) Port 1 is 555-1212
4) Port 2 is 555-1213When a call arrives ,via voip that have the number 1 212 5551212, the quintum will look up on the table and route it to port 1.
If you need a sample configuration, email me mike3799@yahoo and I could send you a sample for a A400.
Regards!!!!
11th September 2003 at 12:48 #22512VoIPGuestHello , i have a quintum a400 tenor (analog series).. also ivr and radius server.. when call ended from both side (my tenor and destination number) quintum’s led turn off after one minute later. In pstntg prompt i’ve configured cassignaling to 1 and supervision 3.. Then same problem occured. And then i’ve changed casssignaling to 6 (loop fast and disconnect) and supervision 3 same problem occured too.. There is no wrong charge…Radius calculates the true calling time.. How can i solve this problem?
