In my company we was using Cisco AS5300 for a while for voice traffic over IP. Not exactly VoIP as the traffic that come by the internet, but using international private lines.
The thing is that all the time we put a DS3 with full of traffic to my country (Dominican Rep), the AS5300 collapse. Cisco professional technicals have been working with us all the time, trying to figure what is happening with the devices, but can’t find the real problem.
Our traffic is very heavy, and always the DS3 is full of traffic in normal conditions, and Cisco engineers tell us that the equipment is able to work with this patterns, but for us have never worked.
Have some of you had any kind of trouble like this with your AS5300??? Somebody knows what to do to fix the problem??
