Can you point me to a resource that discusses the economics of deploying a
traditional pstn network versus an IP based-soft switch network. For
example, if I am a newly licensed phone company and I want to build a voice
network, which way should I go in terms of economics – traditional pstn
with central offices and c5 switches, or a soft-switch with multiple
trunking gateways?
