Eg-1: SDCCH Drop: 0.8 PSR: 91.5% Eg-2: SDCCH Drop: 0.4 PSR: 95.5% System: Nokia 24th August 2012 at 12:39 #68528 Reply SHELDONGuest Hi Tarun, I think there is a correlation between the two. An SDCCH drop can result in a paging failure if the SDCCH is being used for paging. However, the situation you’ve depicted may also be indicating a problem which affects both paging and SDCCH drop. For example, if there is a problem with your signalling routes, it will cause SDCCH drops and will also impact paging. 24th August 2012 at 16:12 #68529 Reply AghaGuest Hi All, I think SDR will not impact on paging.you just confirm, where your paging process is completed from vendor doc.In Huawei/Eric,paging is successful when SD is allocated and paging response is sent to MSC.
