T_NETWORK_RESPONSE_TIME in ALU (results)

    Good afternoon, dear Pix!

    We’ve just completed our tests with different values of T_NETWORK_RESPONSE_TIME (1.6, 1.2, 1, 0.8 and 0.6 sec) and got rather curious results. Yes, TBF_drop_rate (mainly in DL) really decreased 🙂
    Experimentally we found out the most appropriate value (for these 2 BSCs) = 0.8 sec.
    If you are interested in this question I can send you some graphics 🙂

    P.S. we don’t see any deteriorating of main KPIs and don’t receive subscribers’ complaints, but still – we’re concerned about possible (maybe latent) quality degradation, so we don’t apply new value widely…

    I would love to get the following report for the whole “cell_zone” where you applied those settings.

    (you know you can create a cell zone with a criteria based on T_NW_Response_time = 0.8s)

    ayway, the report is called “Alc_GPRS_Telecom” in mono object evolution report

    I’ll see the decrease in DL DROP and the change in the “active vs delay” time ratio.
