Pls tell me how the following is possible:

Let’s look at P.10 GOS on the Erlang-B table for 144 trunks

The Erlang-B formula indicates the BHT [ Busy Hour Traffic] is 152.5 Erlangs – 1.059 Erlang’s per trunk !!

How is it possible to generate greater than 1 Erlang per trunk at any GOS?

What Erlang B is saying is that you can OFFER the trunk group 152.5 Erlangs. At P.10 blocking, only 90% would be actually carried on the trunks – the other 10% would be blocked. So, the carried traffic would be 137.25.
