    Rach_TA_Filter only filters out the RACH beyond certain radius as defined by the value set. Hence MS beyond this radius can camp on this cell. (if this is the best server) but such mobile will not be able to access the network, their request will be filtered out by this parameter.

    My concern is how a mobile in this condition be able to access the network resource? is their any parameter to push them away since they are on the cell they cannot use by setting of RACH_TA_Filter

    hi,

    back to the timing advance :
    is there an equivalent of the RACH_TA_Filter (from ALU) in the Ericsson system ?

    I want to avoid MS located to far away from a cell to do the call setup there. I need to filter on the TA for the time being, temporary, to validate the proposal that a permanent downtilt will efficiently improve KPI’s.

    hi experts,

    I faced a problem about TA and want to share with you.

    TA values are measured as 1 even MS close to site(about 300 meters).

    Test area is so flat hence, it is not related with reflection.

    Can anyone say something about it? Can it be related with equipment bug?
