How can I estimate the traffic intensity in a VoIP network in order to dimension capacity between two network nodes? For a circuit switched trunk group, you can do estimate the number of trunks required given the number of users and the average busy hour traffic (Erl) per user. How can I estimate the required capacity in a packet voice network, say VoIP?
