BSIC, MAIO, HSN explanations?

    Dear all

    I request explanations related to the topics I’ve wrote in the subject. Please whoever knows these topics clearly I’d ask him/her to help us with detailed explanations. Also any book recommended would be an answer.

    BSIC – Base Transceiver Station Identity Code = PLMN Color Code + BS Color Code = 00 – 77 – for identifying BTSs

    MAIO – Mobile Allocation Index Offset – it is used to force the hopping pattern in a particular way

    HSN – Hopping Sequence number– 0-63

    2 channels on the same HSN but different MAIO never use the same frequency on the same burst.
