    hello.. question..
i have 3 choice of network connection to a major carriers world IP backbone.

    1)ATM(up to 44M)
    2)ethernet(up to 50M)
    3)regular managed ineternet connection(up to 6M)

    all are dedicated internet access

what would be best for VOIP?

currently using regular but need to up the bandwith. regular is the most expensive.
    would appreciate your comments..

My personnal opinion is that it should be Ethernet.
ATM is a techology good enough but the technology trending is to have universal interface, all what I know it become the Ethernet. No matter if today you have 50 M, next step is to have 100 M, you will save money in the future and routers….

    1 or 3
ethernet is not maintainable for carriers
