High SD drop even at low traffic

Indranil,

if the sd drop was suddenly high:

Try to lock/unlock the TCU carrying this cell, it should solve the problem.

if the sd drop is a little high, for a very long time:
it’s probably the radio problem, related to interferences or bad coverage, or poor path balance.

Ok, to sum up:
lock all TRX
unlock only one TRX at a time, for few hours, then repeat for the other TRX. Goal is to push TCH and SDCCH traffic onto the same TRX.

In the QoS check if only one TRX is having the problem, or if the problem happens during each trial.

Other possibility, if traffic is really low : you have one faulty MS in your cell (i’ve seen this before). You need to isolate the faulty MS in your MSC (I’ve no idea how to do that though…)
