echo in the voip system

    hello. is it possible for an echo to be removed while raising the volume?? it seems to increase as i higher the volume.. codec 723.1 is used. we use a g165 echo cancellor. appreciate your comments..

    I would say that echo that happen in analog circuitries are generated based on the original signal. higher signal would generate higher replica as an echo. the idea is to predict exactly the parameters of the original signal and subtracted before it gets back to the receiver. OF course, I am taking about echo in telephony.
