O&M LINK

    HI Dears,

    Would you please tell me the difference between O&M link and telecom status in NOKIA manager software?
    What do they give us about the status of whole site?

    Please answer to this question.
    We have 2 indicators in BTS manager software.
    O&M link(enabled or disabled)
    and telecom (working or not working)
    what are they?

    i don’t know the nokia software, but usually:
    o&m link is the connection between the BTS to the OMCR (it’s the OML timeslot on the Abis interface, routed to the OMCR by the BSC)

    telecoms status tells whether or not your cell can carry traffic. If it’s working, it means your cell is currently transceiving radio frequencies.
