RRC connection Failure

    Hi guys,

    What do you think are the factors/reasons for RRC connection failure in WCDMA call set-up process?

    And what are the possible solutions for this problem.

    Hi Turd,
    There are many reason of RRC failure rate:
    1.poor coverage
    2.Interference
    3.Due to Handover control
    4.Due to Admission control
    5.Hardware issues.

    most of RRC problem is due to hi Paging so congestion.
    solution for worst rrc cells to divide RNC to suitable RAC/LAC boundries and if there is one cell has high paging with one neighbors , these two cells must be in one lac

    Pls ensure that Ec/No is not lower than threshold, check available DL code/Power resources, check ur RSCP/RSSI thresholds

    Calls were dropped stating the error “No route to destination” then Call was released before connection.

    what’s the reason for this.

    what will be the reason for suddenly 100% RRC accessibility failure in the LTE.
    there is no hardware isuues, lot of sites got affected from the same period

    RRC connection is releasing without rrc connection re-configuration complete message. What can be the reason for set up failure???
    RRC connection Request –> RRC Connection Setup–> RRC Connection Setup Complete–> RRC Connection Release.
