GOS vs. TCH assignment failure? ASAYC!!!

    30% for the whole network ? it is very high. I think you should focus on checking TRX unavailability. Such high congestion certainly means that many hardware resources (TRX) are down.

    sarvesh_nsn, which cause you have for TCH & SDCCH assign fail? radio, congestion or BSS cause?

    For TCH:
    Check-
    Congestion
    Coverage
    HW
    Interference.

    For SDCCH:
    Check-
    T3101 value, Path balance issue on SDCCH carrier, HW issue …etc

    PLS Help me
    I’m working in GSM Provider.
    Special in to Core Network Performance..
    After i check, there’s so many reduce after CM request (call attempt) to MSC & assignment request from MSC.
    Its bout 10% reduce.
    Theres anybody already find the answer why.. ??

    Anyway, do u know which proccess is going first :
    1. Assignment request (TCH request) from A number MSC or
    2. Paging proccess in B Number MSC

    The paging of the called party is performed during the sDCCH phase of the calling party. So TCH is not yet allocated to the calling party.
    It would be allocated as soon as the called party’s MSC is replying to the “CALL SETUP” message by a “CALL PROCEEDING” message.

    for 30% congestion on the network, 1-check the traffic per cell and the number of installed TRX’s
    2-check the usage of full rate and half rate per cell.

    accoring to call attempts as conuter (time) how many call attempta i have ?? in the counter defination as a standrad defination we count number of call attempts according to IAM message or or CM meassage??

    in DT using Tems:
    in call setup can’t esstiblish call due to assignement failure, why Tems don’t calculate this retray in Blocked call
