during the drive testing, some calls are dropped with the cause ‘temporary failure’ …in good radio conditions. Could some one throw light on this cause…why does it happen? where does the problem exist?
You should check the layer 3 messages during the call, see if there is any message sent or received when this drop occurs. It might (or not) give you an indication. (possible messages : channel release, disconnect…)
Also, check the QoS stats in the cell where you had the drop : what type of drops do you see at the hour of the drivetest ?
