Designing parameter of Switching sub sys

    I want to understand the planning of a Switch Sub-system. What are the various parameters which are required for switch palnning? What are various input which are most essential for the planning.

    Can anybody suggest any document also.

    Switching sub systems would probably use delay as a factor. Why? Because system elements will be contending for the use of common elements. Have you checked the ATT Traffic Analysis book by Roberta Martine? I believe she has some insight into your topic.
