Request for reading material

I am basically a computer engg. have been working in a CDMA20001X network as an RF personnel for the past 2 years but all I have been doing is tackling regular practical problems which is not getting me to understand the basics. I want to know the system to the core but as im in an operator….. we just cant fiddle with the system. Pls if you people could forward me some links which would help me understand the whole system….. how it works…. how doe it all happen….. what part of the system does what exactly( I know as simple working what i want to know is whats goin on on the basic levels…..
