    Hi, could anyone tell me how to determine the sw version installed in a Ericsson DXU. My read out via OMT is:

    DXU 0 RAM Appl: DXLR04CS
    DXU 0 flash Init: DXBR09BB
    DXU 0 flash Appl: DXLR04CS
    DXU 0 flash TRU Init: TRBR09BB
    DXU 0 flash TRU Appl: TRLR04CS
    DXU 0 flash ECU Init: ECBR09BB
    DXU 0 flash ECU Appl: ECLR04CS

    Is this R10 or…?

    Thanks, would appreciate your answer! Marcel

    Each load application file is constituted of sub files, corresponding to the subsystems.
    The load files names are:
    FHEADER : Header-file which describes the file package.
    FLF1 : TRU-main application file. Real name is TRLRaaab
    FLF2 : ECU-main application file. Real name is ECLRaaab
    FLF3 : DXU-main application file. Real name is DXLRaaab
    FLF4 : TRU-base application file. Real name is TRBcccd
    FLF5 : ECU-base application file. Real name is ECBcccd
    FLF6 : DXU-base application file. Real name is DXBcccd

    aaa and ccc is the revision of the SW.
    b is a character indicating SW version.
    d is not used.

    The SW version is used to prevent loading a SW which does not support a certain HW configuration.

    Main application SW can be both upgraded and downgraded.
    I.e. DXLR012B -> DXLR14B -> DXLR012B

    Base application can only be upgraded.
    I.e. DXBR04BA -> DXBR05BA -> DXBR07BB
