Does a Radio O&M Technician position (on a GSM service provider) involves field work or not?

    Thank you,

Thanks for the reply Patrick. Are your working at Mobily Saudi? I’m a Filipino and I have an application at Mobily as a Radio O&M Technician. Do you have an idea if the position involves field work? Or is the position only designated at the Radio Room?

    Thank you,

    hi jerby,

o&m technician will most probably require on-field BTS knowledge, BSC knowledge and OMC-R knowledge. It might also require “supervision”(room work), but in all cases you’ll be more convincing if you have equipment/hardware knowledge.
