    HI
    LAPD stand for LINK ACCESS PROTOCOL ON D CHANNEL.
    DAC value is basically defined for the synchronisation of one bts with other and to make a hand over possible intercellular hand over.

    Thx

    1BB2A = 2TRX

    3 sectors = 3 TRX you can use 2BB2A but you can add TRX.
    I think it is not recommanded by Nokia.

    minimum recommanded by Nokia => 3 sectors(222 min) = 6 TRX(min) = 3BB2A

    saurabh – 30 Apr 2006

    Ultrasite => 666 TRX max

    Metro site => 4 TRX max

    Hi all,

    is it possible two band 900/1800 in one BTS Ultrasite

    example :
    one BTS Ultrasite = 900(2/2/2) + 1800 (2/2/2)

    thanks

    sukma,
    i don’t thing it can be possibe ,two bands in one cabinet.that is why venders has two differnt cabinets.because the internal system is differntfor each one.
    other wise our venders will start do manufaturing of dual band cabinets with the name like DBTS or DRBS.

    OF COURSE IT IS POSSIBLE. We call this ultrasite: BTS MIXTE

    ultrasite BUS is divised in 2 parts. we can have 12TRX or less.

    Different configuration of ultrasite:
    12 TRX1800 or 900
    6 TRX1800 and 6 TRX900
    6 TRX and energie (IBBU)

    EX:
    BTS MIXTE: 6 COPLER, 222 1800, 222 900.
    use 2 PCM 2Mb/s
    You have 2 BCF
