CAN ANY BODY TELL ME ABOUT BTS ALARM AND AND THIER CONNECTION

rabindra sir,

i got an alarm at a site ,
BTS operation degraded:RX level differ bet. main & diversity.

i thought its the VSWR problem but i got reading 1.21&1.19 at main & divercity end respectively,
i changed the trx and tightend the SMA connectors,i changed the combiners too still i m having the same alarm .
can any one help me out?

hi sairam,
pls check these: 1.parameter RDIV should be ON.
2.it might be possible only RX Cable swap from other sector.
3.check all cable inside the BTS one point to other, it may be swap.

Reason:this alarm can come when diversity may go beyond 5 So any of the cable inside BTS Gt. swapped.

Because your BTS reset 3 or 4 times in less than 5 minutes.
I don’t remember exactly but too reset in little times.

It is not a critical alarm. You can reset by ZEOR:bcf:n°alarm;

Fault reason: There is disturbance in the serial DL bus or bus is broken.
Instructions:
1. TSxx is not properly installed or is missing.
Install it properly.
2. TSxx is broken.
Replace it.

Is the RRI of Metrosite, compatible to Ultrasite? Can u use that module directly to Ultrasite? By re-mapping it at Traffic Manager?

We don’t have RRI for ultrasite. We have FXC ET1/T1.

4 PCM in/out

On traffic manager
– Select unit (FXC or RRI)
– select interface (PCM 1 …4)
– place Tch, TRXsig, OMUsig, Edap, on your abis allocation for BTS.

(Warning: Metrosite don’t work with hubmanager.)
