Yes, you can use an MML command to collect statistics, but to be able to extract and use the stats, you need some excel sheet. It’s quite a long process.

First, you run the MML command stmfo, then use the above-mentioned excel sheet to extract the results.

If you have the excel sheet, the process is described in there. If you don’t, then it will be pointless for me to describe it here.

If you have another way of collecting the stats (eg, Optima, Business Object, etc), I think you will be better off using those.
