I think first you sould verify that this problem caused of BTS HW( Antenna, TMA ,T- Bias,Combinner,CU) try to check that it has just happen or long time ago.
for second, if no problem with HW try to check that TA (Timing Advance ) may be high BER on UL come from high distance between MS-BS
