HR has weak anti-interference capability due to which in bad RF Conditions it is more susceptible to call drops.
Also, when the calls are changed from full rate to half rate and vice versa, this involves packing and unpacking of calls which is similar like handover processing. So,the more the packing-unpacking events, the more chances of call-drops.
