Never said you were using a PBX, you asked how you can get the frequency and on/off time without contacting the provider and one of my suggestions was that if you have a PBX or know of a company that has one, you could probably find the frequency and on/off time there.
As for your test, I would assume option 2 would fail since that is not valid.
