A few comments:
“With Quintum you can change both the incoming and outgoing call signalling port.”
On the second generatation gateways, I have never managed to change the port the Tenor connects to, although I have changed the port it listens on. I think this point has been discussed on this forum before.
“And in 99% of the cases, the newest firmware image is the best one”.
Except perhaps P103. It has some real issues with settings being lost on reboot (country tone plan; codec profiles). But, to be fair, Quintum are still publishing their final P102 firmware and advertising it as stable, which it is.
