whether you are connected via LAN or console port, as long as you can access the unit you can reset as follows;
1. connect to unit and enter username and password.
2. type “main mc”
3. type “reset”
4. type “yes”
This will make the unit perform a standard reset. If you want to set the unit to factory default, then;
1. connect to the unit and enter username and password.
2. type “conf mc”
3. type “setfactory”
4. type “yes”
5. follow directions 2 – 4 above to reset the unit.
