How does a SIP device know when a user is finished dialing? (I am referencing a world where you receive dialtone when you access the line then dial without using any other key to end the dialing sequence. When I dial on the PSTN, I could be dialing 1 to 11+ digits to make a call. How does the SIP device know whether I wanted to dial 411 or 411010101?

    Thanks

1 it depends on the dialplan

2 if it doesn’t get more digit in a certain time, it will dial out the entered digits
