So far ,I found two way to boot ws100 fxs from TTL port
    1.Diagnostics mode

before ws100 is reseted.change RxD on TTL side with Ground.when you get a stable Dark Green window.change the Rxd back.So you can input any command.

    2.Normal boot mode.

You can change boot parameter by command ‘c’.
    soft reset by ‘g 10000′.

however,I can not find any command like NIOP ,PFLASH end etc. to update firmware.’c’ command does not work with TFTP even though I had tried every combination.so far I can not boot my box by staying on LED 3.

I really appreciated if there is any one who can tell me how to enter NIOP mode!

I am still wondering how to update firmware,I take a wide guess that maybe there should be a boot script to load the file “boot_3r4.ld” and “ip_fxs_3r4.ld”. as I had never succed in loading any of them manually.
there is a url maybe helpful:
    http://www.xs4all.nl/~borkhuis/vxworks/basicNetConfiguration.txt

when you search on google by key words GW3004, you will find that there have been SIP firmware for GW3000 series already.but they all in Japanese.

for those who can’t get the device booting, you might want to try these options: (use your own IP address)
    boot device : cpm0
    processor number : 0
    host name : SOLPHONE
    file name : flash
    inet on ethernet (e) : 192.168.0.122:0xffffff00

    flags (f) : 0x8
    target name (tn) : EWC192168000122

Sonny – I only just read your forum article, there is Japanese company details if you need it also i recall once having a problem with P4 – I thought it dead for 9 months BUT just like a pregnancy – life came when I realised that it had actually defaulted to DHCP mode which was NOT what I was expecting as usually it goes to 192.168.10.2 and lo, I was able to use it again – I stopped experimenting after that !! mind you anybody know how to RESET a ws2000 please ? and yes I have Websuite available for the asking
