    Hi Natasha,
Sorry its interface btwn Bsc and Msc:)) R U facing problem in single Cell or in a group of cell.
If in one cell: 1. try to increase Signaliing link(packet Pipe)2. HW problem in BTS(TRX).

If Many BTS: A Ter interface HW problem in BSC.

    Dear Natasha,
since u are working on Ericsson system……
u can easily find A-ter interface report.
agree with mlai, also check A-bis path.
if possible give more clear picture of the issue u are facing…such as….
    1.Tch blocking
    2.H/w is ok….

    Hi,
FYI,A-ter is the interface between bsc and the transcoder.Do the following for high TCH cong-Is frequency and hopping plan proper?NO
    Remove all co-channel &
possible adj-channels. Ensure proper MAL, MAIO & MS settings.YES-1-Check TCH drop due to transcoder failure. If the tch_tr counter is high for a specific cell then check its time slot mapping. And if it is high for a no. of cells then check the health of transmission media.2-Are All Neighbors properly defined.NO-Define all the relevant cells as neighbors. Rectify all one way neighbor definitions.YES-Check if NCC,BCC, BCCH, LAC & Sync are correctly defined.HOPe u get it.
