Also, the site has three sectors but only sector_2 is having low Total Number of SDCCH Attempts and extremely low Number of Successful SDCCH Assignment and these affect the Accessibility to SDCCH.

In ZTE, we have Minimal Signal Strenght of MS Uplink RACH Access (RachMin, -dm)and RACH Load Indication Threshold, there values are 125 and 60 respectively.

what is your suggestion?

RACH Load Indication Threshold should be 80%

But here i am getting 2 % in sd blocking imrovement after lapd from 32 to 64 which is due to lac update.

If ur point of view its not possible can u explain why its not possible in lac update?

Hi Krish
2% improvement is not a conclusive improvement.
since SDCCH Holding Time during LOC update is high,increasing LAPd from 16K to 32K will not help much.
If u really want to bring down the SDCCH Blocking due to LOC update,change its LAC,u will observe very good results

If your problem was due to LOC update,changing the LAC of that cell as that of its neighboring cells should have helped.Carrier addition & SDCCH addition is the last resort then.
U can also increase the T3212 timer to 4-6 hours(if not already done).but this might lead to poor PSR
