Hi pix,
T200 which to Kassem refers supervises Ack on the LapDm (layer 2 protocol on the Um interface (MS-BTS)).
In this case BSC and core network are unaware of that and need to be advised by Error Indication message (from BTS to BSC) in such a way to release the call.
In case of T200 expiry on Abis interface, BSC is already informed and no ERRIND is necessary.
Thanks michelle, I finally found this parameter in our dictionnary 🙂 there is a T200 for LapD management, and others T200 for LapDm management.
Supervision of acknowledgements for SDCCH SAPI 0. = 220ms
Supervision of acknowledgements for SDCCH SAPI 3. = 450ms
Supervision of acknowledgements on RSL for OMU SW. = 1sec
and so on ….
Can anyone please guide that in which message inside Drive Test (done using TEMS) I can see T200 timer value?
As with other parameters that are available in Layer 3 Messages (System informations and Assignment commands) how can I find currently set value of T200 from Drive Test.
