Guestwhat relation between Ec/No & Ec/Io?
what we will see in layer 3 message
while location update?is RSCP is more or less similar to RX level of 2G,
Aswadi
GuestChip Energy divided by Noise Density,
Ec/No is the Received Signal Code Power (RSCP) divided by the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI).Afzal wahab
Guestrscp is above -100 and HSDPA downloading not coming in that condition what parameter i have to check.

GuestQ)how scanner helps in the rf optimization
A) The max radio links that our mobile can support is 3. But using scanner we can scan more than 3 RL sets.
Usually Scanner is mainly useful to find out the pilot pollution.krish
GuestHI,
in bad ec/io condition if rscp is good than what will be rssi ?
i mean i want to understand whats corelation between rscp and rssi?

GuestCan any one have idea about HSDAP codes, Codding Tech. used in 3g and Relation between CQI and HSDPA…
2.What is actual meaning of “Ec\Io -12 dbm ” ?
3. What is denotes this term “RSCP is -80 db )what is CPICH,RSCP
Guestplease tell me about CPICH,RSCP
Samdublin
Guestwhy I have got -120 value of CPICH?
TAIEB
Guestplease tell me about CPICH,RSCP,Ec/No & Ec/Io
Zulfiquar Ahmed
GuestCPICH: Pilot channel
RSCP: recived Pilot channel power
Ec/Io: Pilot channel Quality.
Ec/No and Ec/Io both are almost same.. no big diffence..
RSSI=RSCP+EC/Io
Eb/Io=Ec/Io+processing gainvikas shetty
GuestCan somebody pls explain me the parameters like
1)HSDPA
2)HSUPA
3)RSCP
4)RSSI
5)Ec/Io
6)Ec/NoArch
GuestRSCP = Received signal code power it is a some of RSSI(Received signal strength) and Ec/No in dbm.
RSCP (dbm) = RSSI(dbm)+Ec/No(dbm).
Characteristics:
1. These quatities will be measured from primary CPICH.To evaluate receive signal condition.
2. RSSI and RSCP is measured for full frequency.
3. Ec/No is measured for a cell on that frequency.Malay Das
GuestIn UMTS how much carrier frequency is alloted in Each sector of a NodeB??
Is it 5MHz or something else?
