GuestFor the fixed lines service provider, I think the auto Redial facility of the PRIs which cont. calls the wrong dialed no. is big issue for lost calls..This problem should be solved by changing the PBX this feature…

GuestOne of other contributor could be number length defined in routing analysis. minimum digits required to seize a cricuit to be dfined based on number lengths so that unnecessary seizures can be avoided resulting in ASR improvement.

GuestIf ASR is the main KPI of any N/W.
I found mostly Overflows in TGs,Routing probs and the hunting type for dual seizer are main factors for ASR.But then also are any other factors….?????Kindly share20th November 2010 at 05:37 #40139Sureshkumar Kachhadiya

GuestHi,for your starting point–>
>Trunk Utilization would be better less than 75% – Dual Seizure and Congestion should all be near zero.
Check ABR in total and on interfaces – compare BID and accepted BID, It should be near 100%, one reason which can decrease ABR is Dual seizure it contributes low ASR in core side
Top 15 cause codes – check release code then you can find abnormal release which can affect ASR
Paging success rate.PSR should more than 98%
Signaling link load
Signaling symmetry
Packet loss at MGW (For qualitative VOIP)
Be aware prepaid subscriber would potentially decrease ASR due to Money issues ( check abnormal release code)7th January 2011 at 19:18 #40143Singh Ajay Jayprakash

GuestTo improve ASR;
1). CIC Selection method with other exchange should be different.
2). Length of B-number.
3). RBT timer should not be less than 45 seconds.
4). Cranck-back routing should be enable for Congested codes/routes.
5). Utilization should be kept below 70%.
6). Regular audits for B-number/Routing case.23rd February 2011 at 05:40 #40146GGGGGG
GuestIN BSNL L-2 CGR WHEN NUNBER OF BITS/CALL ATTEMPED IS INCREASE THEN ASR IS DECREASE BUT WHY????
