Does anybody know the procedure for upgrading Nokia 2G BTS’s to EDGE?

Basically looking for BTS models, card’s to be upgraded (name & model number)

Procedure(s) for field and switch?
Timescales for doing this upgrade

There are some steps:
1) Exchange BB2A to BB2E
2) Exchange TSGA,TSDA to TSGB,TSDB
3) Write dynamic Abis pool (max 2tsl for each TRX)
4) Check parameter EGPRS enabled to Y

Do you know what hardware has to be changed in the BTS.

What model BTS’ and what the card is called??

BTS is Ultrasite.
We must change some hardware of BTS:
BB2A – signalling module
TSGA – GSM TRX
TSDA – DCS TRX.

And after that:
We must write Dynamic Abis and logically in the BSC (command ESE) write dynamic ABIS POOL.
