What is the direct effect on KPI if AMR is disabled in a BSC.I find no change in the DL-UL Quality even after disabling.Is there any other KPI which gets effected
You have to audit the SQI before and after enabling AMR, also you have to know what are the codecs used in case of AMR – FR or AMR – HR. AMR is a positive for speach quality specially in case of HR activated due to capacity issues. On the other hand, I noticed degredation in SQI and FER in case AMR was activated in a BSC with A-ter or A-bis through VSAT. Anyone noticed same problem with AMR over VSAT?
