Hi ! As I posted sometime back of being interested to start a BPO, I have now decided to venture into the area of Market Research where all the stages from secondary research to documenting will be outsourced. I have already applied for a grant to start the company. Could someone please advice me on how to go about attracting customer; prior to start.
Thanks,
11th November 2005 at 09:19 #17014Abdul Muneem KhanGuestHi all, I am from Hyderabd, working in Saudi Arabia since 3 years in IT field. I dont have great educational qualifications in particular. A common question in the minds of people is How to ? I am happy to know about the energy and strength of you people. Starting a BPO is very simple on papers and planning conferences. According to me… “oursourcing needs a source” a source is client, client has to be either from your links or from your marketing strengths. To start a small range firm u dont need much capital…for instance if you are planning to start an IT outsourcing co. u just need a small office place either rented or own…if u have some skilled friends invite them. Look out for client and hire the required staff on contract basis. Initially you have to concentrate on service only with marginal profits..once your goodwill is added to ur profile….u can go for big ones. “corporate links and spot idea’s are the main investments for a successful BPO”
I am planning the same….in near future….Best of luck ppl. 🙂

Every one here need to know about the finance needed in seting up a call centre.
Let me give u some idea of 15 seater call centre.
Things Needed
1. Infrastructure – Its up to u how much do u wish to invest.
2. Technalogy:
(a) Dialer :
1. Progressive
2. Predictive
3. DevoxProgressive is a low end dialer and will cost u 3000 to 6000 per seat.
Predictive is a dialer which is moderate and is used by small call centres and will cost u 20,000 to 45,000 per seat.
Devox can not be used for small call centre as this costs u somewhere around $1700 to $2500.
(b)Gateway (audio port)
for 15 seats audio port u need is of 16 port and costs u 65,000 to 80,000.(c)Bandwidth (Internet connection)
will cost u accourding to ur city
in delhi it costs u Rs 4,00,000.
For 15 seats u need 16 mb to 20 mb per seat i.e 256 mb.
Installation cast is there.(d)Voice mins
These costs according to the city u resides in and according to country u need to dial.
Costs u 65 paise to 85 paise.(e)Networking
which allows u to have all the computers to be in connection with each other.(f)Computers
Linux or celeron will surve u well.(g) EPBX
Its something which acts as exchange to ur phones which are connected to ur computer.
Cost not Knon.Any one need to have some other details can give me there contact number and i will be there to help u out.

It’s good that you thought of doing a business in Call Centre.
In the same way you need to think, what you know about this business?
It is advisable that you get to know about the business by working with a same kind of organization. So that you will understand about the business, clients, opportunity and etc.22nd November 2005 at 19:31 #17021yojvendarGuestsetting up of a call ceentres in shimla tell me the whole budgeting
