    Hi,
does anyone know of any firms employing Brits in call centres over in India?

I know ebookers employ some Europeans to assist with calls from non-anglophone countries. However, are there any British workers making the trip over there to work?

    Hi Alex,
Yes, I do. It would help if you had some experience in training (Phonetics etc)

Oh, its not so much for myself, more for a project I was working on.

As far as I could gather British people aren’t employed in Indian call centres, since so many Indians speak very good English. Is this so? Or do British people migrate for a few years, to check out the Indian culture, etc? Do any particular firms specialise in such employment?

I heard Ebookers employed northern europeans, though principally from non-anglophone countries?

Well, a friend of mine has asked me to help them out on a prospective reality TV show. They want to follow the exploits of six or so British people as they give up their lives in the West to try life in India.

The only problem is that India doesnt’ really need labour from anglophone countries, as such good English is spoken in India. Are there any Indian call centres with British employees?

I think they would prefer younger employees, rather than middle aged ones.

    Any ideas?
