Greetings
I need to make 99 fax calls each hour.
Each call lasts 1.5 minutes.How many fax ports/machines will I need to make the calls?
How many lines will I need?How would I figure this out in Excel?
Or with a VB function.Thanks
allow 2 min per call to cater for busy, no progress, etc
99 x 2 = 198 call minutes per hour
198/60 = number of lines to carry this traffic, = 4 lines = 4 fax machines.This assumes you have control over when the calls are sent and they can be spread evenly over the time.
